Joras was a dog with one inexhaustible passion: food.

This static, almost photographic image captures a moment when Joras, calmly sitting nearby, watches people at the table. His gaze is locked onto the food moving toward mouths, and a single thread of drool escapes uncontrollably from his own.

It is a portrait of waiting, desire, restraint, and imagination, because while the body receives nothing, the imagination might already be feasting.

Joras’ gaze is hypnotic, and behind it, a mental scene unfolds: an imagined bite, the taste of something out of reach, yet so close.
