There is a law of nature: sometimes we simply need to let it out. Each of us finds a different way to release emotional excess, and a rooster’s outburst is impossible to ignore. Its crow may sound cheerful to us, but if we pause for a moment, is it really filled with joy?

We have learned to associate the rooster’s crow with sunrise, yet its origins are far older than our symbols. It is a declaration of territory, an instinctive act, an emotional release, an affirmation of life.

This painting only hints at the bird itself. Rather than depicting a rooster, it seeks to visualize the crowing—an eruption of graphic noise, colors, lines, and scattered fragments that come together in an unexpected harmony. What that harmony means is left for each viewer to discover.
